Pip Squeak and Wilfred will not dispatch goods until a valid payment is received.

We can accept payments by credit or debit card in the following ways:

  • Secure online payment, which is managed by Paypal.
  • By phone (manual payment), however, we can only take payments during normal shop hours).
  • All prices are exclusive of delivery/shipping charges, which we are confirmed during the payment process.

Prices quoted are inclusive of VAT where applicable. (VAT is not currently charged on children’s garments). If VAT is applicable, this will be deducted from any orders placed and delivered outside the EU.

All transactions are deemed to take place within the United Kingdom and are subject to the relevant UK laws. Pip Squeak and Wilfred are not responsible for local taxes and duties, which are the responsibility of the consumer. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

All prices are displayed and charged in Pounds Sterling (GBP). For non UK consumers, Paypal will handle the currency conversion. Some debit / credit cards can also charge a surcharge for cross-border payments, which is the responsibility of the consumer. Unfortunately, we cannot give prices in any other currency due to the continuous fluctuations in exchange rates.

All goods remain the property of Pip Squeak and Wilfred until payment has been received in full.

SHIPPING / DELIVERY

UK deliveries are via Royal Mail 2nd Class Recorded, and will require a signature on receipt of goods. Shipping outside of the UK, is shipped via Airmail Small Package.

Delivery times may vary depending on the size of the shipment and the time of year, however, Royal Mail endeavour to deliver goods within 2-3 working day via 2nd Class Recorded. Airmail Small Package is delivered between 5 and 7 working days. In addition, it is usually more cost effective to ship Airmail in bubble wrap without the manufacturers box. On purchase we will confirm the shipping options.

PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION

We take data protection extremely seriously and are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not collect or retain any payment information for any purchases made via our online store. All payment details are handled strictly via PayPal. We do not share any data that we do hold with any third parties whatsoever. Any data that is collected about you is used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, and strictly to enable us to process your order and provide the most effective service to you as a consumer.

We do not use this information to inform you, via email or otherwise, of promotions, sales and new stock collections unless you request to be added to our store mailing list.

Any personal information that is retained by us is held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and UK law. Any information that we hold will be accurate and up to date. If you wish to review the information that we hold about you, please email us. If you find any errors, please inform us and we will delete or correct it promptly. If you have any concerns about privacy, please do not hesitate to call or email us.

CONSUMER PROTECTION (DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS 2000)

In accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 Click to view act, you have seven working days, commencing from the day after receipt, to inform us of your intention to cancel the contract with us (i.e., that you are returning the goods that you ordered from PSW). A working day means Monday to Friday, and not including bank or public holidays. You are entitled to receive a full refund of the price paid if you cancel the contract in accordance with this process.

If you wish to cancel the contract (i.e., return the goods) you must inform us in writing via our [online returns procedure] and must return the goods to us immediately in the same condition in which you received them and at your own risk. You have a legal obligation to take all reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession

All goods, including any gift with purchase, must be returned to us at your own cost. All goods, including any gift, must be returned unworn, unmarked and in their original packaging, complete with all labels.

If you cancel the contract in accordance with this provision, we will process your refund as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days.

Replacement goods must be ordered by placing a new order.

ORDERS FROM OUTSIDE UK AND EUROPE

Goods purchased via our online store, which are returned to the UK may incur duty charges unless Customs and Excise are informed / made aware that the parcel is not an import into the UK but a return. If any costs are incurred via Customs and Excise then this will be deducted from your refund.

Please ensure that you follow our returns procedure for returning goods and do not return any goods without your returns number.

RETURNS – KEY POINTS

It is essential that you return them within 7 days of delivery or attempted delivery by the carrier.
It is highly recommended that you acquire insurance for your return, as we cannot provide refunds for goods that are not returned successfully.
It is essential that you return all goods, including any gift, unworn, unmarked and in their original packaging, complete with all labels.
With the exception of defective goods, goods will not be accepted if they have clear signs of wear, including any marks or stains.
With the exception of defective goods, we will not refund any goods which we cannot resell and you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods back to you.
We do not charge a re-stocking fee, however, goods returned late, are subject to the following handling fees:
Goods returned between 10 and 14 days from delivery (or attempted) are subject to a 15% handling fee.
Goods returned between 15 and 28 days from delivery (or attempted) are subject to a 30% handling fee.
Goods returned after 28 days will not be refunded, with the exception of defective goods, and you will be responsible for collection or the costs of returning the goods.

Your custom is extremely important to us and we hope that you do not need to raise a complaint; however, we will ensure that we respond to any complaints within 2 working days and will keep you fully engaged in the complaints process.
